The economy. \u00a0 It appears to be going in the tank. \u00a0 People are pointing fingers at Wall Street, \u00a0at banking institutions, \u00a0at over extended consumers… \u00a0 Yet is there, perhaps, a \u00a0base moral component many of us are simply not seeing? \u00a0 That is, we are approaching 50 million abortions in the U.S. \u00a0 What’s more, we \u00a0are absolutely trashing the environment with all the carbon dioxide \u00a0emissions (read: global warming). \u00a0 Then there are all \u00a0the \u00a0suburban Americans living (comparitively speaking) \u00a0in ease, while billions of our brothers and sisters live in \u00a0tremendous abject poverty in Third World slums. \u00a0 I could go on with this, but the point is: \u00a0 In the face of all this, maybe \u00a0what’s happening with the economy is our \u00a0‘Jonah\/Nineveh moment.’<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
