Buckeye Back Roads Tour cont<\/strong>: \u00a0 We traveled to Norwalk, Ohio, where I talked at a prayer group Monday night at St. Mary’s and during a Mass at St. Paul’s the following day. \u00a0 I talked about how abortion wouldn’t end until we, frequently, \u00a0took to the streets. \u00a0 After the talk at St. Paul’s, our family did just that, took to the streets of downtown Norwalk. \u00a0 We held signs saying: \u00a0ABORTION KILLS CHILDREN; \u00a0PRAY TO END ABORTION; ABORTION HURTS WOMEN… \u00a0 Tuesday night we went to a prayer vigil to stop abortion at St. Paul’s. \u00a0 Deacon Jim Reichert said that in America now, one in four babies are \u00a0aborted (read: killed). \u00a0 He said we kill more \u00a0babies in one year in America now — than \u00a0the number of all <\/em> \u00a0American soldiers killed in all<\/em> \u00a0 our wars combined. \u00a0 Deacon Jim said that the gospel explains the greatest sacrifice is to lay down one’s life for another. \u00a0 Conversely, abortion is about “sacrificing the other person for my own good,” \u00a0 said the deacon. \u00a0 \u00a0He also added that the Catholic Church looks at abortion as an “intrinsic evil,” according to a church pamphlet on “Faithful \u00a0Citizenship.” \u00a0 Note:<\/strong> After the vigil, \u00a0a group of parishioners got together \u00a0to talk about setting up a committee to get the teachings about \u00a0Faithful Citizenship into the hands of as many Catholics at St. Paul’s as possible before the November vote. \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
