{"id":793,"date":"2008-03-14T15:40:45","date_gmt":"2008-03-14T15:40:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/voteforjoe.com\/wheresjoe\/?p=228"},"modified":"2008-03-14T15:40:45","modified_gmt":"2008-03-14T15:40:45","slug":"31408","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voteforjoeblog.com\/?p=793","title":{"rendered":"3\/14\/08"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have spent \u00a0a considerable amount of \u00a0time the last few weeks interviewing people who are activists for nonviolence. \u00a0 Bill Corrigan, who is a deacon at St. Colman&#8217;s Church in Cleveland, saw the horror of war first-hand in World War II&#8217;s <em>Battle of the Bulge<\/em>, among other front line fights. \u00a0 He is now involved with Pax Christi USA (National Catholic Peace Movement). \u00a0 &#8220;Our country has probably killed more people than any other organized group in the history of the world,&#8221; Corrigan said to me. \u00a0 This has included both military and civilians, like, for instance, \u00a0one little boy&#8230; \u00a0 In an article published by the <em>Center for Christian Nonviolence<\/em>, Fr.
