Buckeye Back Roads Tour:<\/strong> \u00a0 From Mansfield, we traveled south to Jelloway, Ohio. \u00a0 (Not in anyway a reflection on the campaign of course, Jello.) \u00a0 We stayed at the Hedge farm here where Liz and I stacked wood Saturday morning. \u00a0 Amidst strain and perspiration, Liz quoted author Gene Logsdon: \u00a0 “Wood warms you twice, once when you’re collecting it and \u00a0again when you’re burning it.” \u00a0 That evening, we were involved with the equivalent of a small town hall meeting at Eli Hostetler’s home up the road here. \u00a0 We talked politics in relation to the Christian message. \u00a0 Everyone here, for instance, was pro-life and I added what I believe is another dimension to the pro-life message. \u00a0 That is, if say in God’s mind he wants a family to have six children, but because of lifestyle choices and artificial contraception, the couple chooses \u00a0to \u00a0have only \u00a0three children — are the three children you don’t have: abortions? \u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
