I was interviewed on the Gene Chapman Podcast Radio Hour Saturday night. \u00a0 Mr. Chapman is running for president as an independent candidate. \u00a0 And his campaign manager, Doug Kenline, also participated in the show. \u00a0 Both have strong Libertarian bents. \u00a0 That is, they want to see way less<\/em> government control when it comes to things like taxation of personal property and income. \u00a0 They construe this as “slavery” to the government and they talked about their positions with passion. \u00a0 While I concurred \u00a0that some tax money may be squandered, I believe given the right paradigm and the right society make-up (a predominately benevolent one) taxation is a good thing if it is really<\/em> used to help the environment, really<\/em> used to help the poor, really<\/em> used to help prisoners. \u00a0 (It is also my belief the church should be significantly helping \u00a0in all of these areas as well.) \u00a0 \u00a0 Prior to the show, Mr Kenline suggested I view the new documentary Freedom to Facism<\/em>. \u00a0 I did. \u00a0 It is quite telling (especially the last half hour) in regard to the accelerating evolution toward a U.S. National ID Card, probably soon followed by bio-chip implants to track citizens, monitor purchasing patterns, and so on. \u00a0 Freedom to Facism<\/em> can be watched for free at<\/a>… Note<\/strong>: \u00a0 To listen to the podcast interview<\/a> I did with Mr. Chapman…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
