In talks prior to the march, a member of Texas Right to Life said there have been at least 44 million abortions in the U.S. since the Roe vs Wade decision. What’s more, with 4,400 abortions a day in the U.S. currently — another speaker said this is like having an Indian Ocean tsunami here: every month and a half. There were some 200 marchers through the downtown streets of Beaumont this Sunday afternoon. As we marched, I couldn’t help but think of all the thousands of Pro-life Christians here, and others, who opted to stay home and watch the NFC championship game — while this Holocaust continues.
