{"id":1764,"date":"2018-07-13T18:59:29","date_gmt":"2018-07-13T18:59:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/voteforjoeblog.com\/?p=1764"},"modified":"2018-07-13T18:59:29","modified_gmt":"2018-07-13T18:59:29","slug":"national-day-of-prayer-bu-graduation-event-farmers-market","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voteforjoeblog.com\/?p=1764","title":{"rendered":"National Day of Prayer; BU graduation event; Farmers Market"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Catching up yet more on the last couple months&#8230; \u00a0I covered a <strong><em>National Day of Prayer<\/em><\/strong> event at Bluffton&#8217;s Town Hall for the local newspaper. \u00a0Christians from all over the town, and nearby towns, converged on the building&#8217;s third floor. \u00a0People prayed about safety in our schools, safety for police and firefighters, for intact nuclear families, for today&#8217;s youth &#8220;as drugs, sex and suicide&#8221; swirl all around them&#8230; \u00a0Local Christian <strong>New Vision FM<\/strong> radio station&#8217;s Ken Kayser implored the Lord for a balanced media that doesn&#8217;t &#8220;&#8230;slant the news to the left or to the right &#8212; but rather to the truth.&#8221; The room was packed&#8230; \u00a0I also attended a graduation weekend event at Bluffton University.
