Our Rocky Mountain High Tour<\/strong><\/em> continues… \u00a0 We headed north to Boulder where we visited the “Memorial Wall for the Unborn” at Sacred Heart of Mary Church there. \u00a0 It honors: \u00a0 “All unborn babies lost to abortion, miscarriage or stillborn.” \u00a0 \u00a0At the top of the \u00a0section on the wall to the babies who have been aborted, it reads: \u00a0 “Blessed are they who morn, for they will be comforted.”<\/em> \u00a0 -Mathew 5:4. \u00a0 Below \u00a0were various rectangles with various short thoughts inside. \u00a0 Some read: \u00a0 \u00a0 “I realized too late.”; \u00a0 “Part of me died too.” –Your loving sister; \u00a0 “Please for give me.” …Leaning up against the bottom of the Wall was a small basketball, a doll, a model plane… \u00a0 In Boulder, we also went to the Whole Food Market for lunch. \u00a0 As I was walking in, a man \u00a0asked me about my platform. \u00a0 I said I would be considered progressive leaning when it came to my stances on the environment and social justice. \u00a0 And I would be considered conservative when it came to “life issues.” \u00a0 He asked what that meant. \u00a0 With the Memorial Wall still fresh in my mind, I said I’m, for instance, against abortion. \u00a0 “I guess that’s all I need to hear,” he said, turning and \u00a0briskly walking off. \u00a0 As I watched him go, I thought of the small basketball leaning up against “the Wall,” that would never get bounced. \u00a0 Note:<\/strong> \u00a0 Some 11 Russians have just been arrested as part of a spy ring in the U.S. \u00a0 The Wall Street Journal<\/em> noted that for the past 20 years, since the collapse of the Soviet Union, both Russia and the U.S. have continued to participate in “espionage and counter-espionage” against each other. \u00a0 Maybe this is just me, but if we don’t want Russia spying on us, MAYBE WE SHOULD STOP SPYING ON THEM! \u00a0 (I’m serious<\/em>.)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
